Data Gathering and Use
We now receive Fountas and Pinnell levels for our grade 10s from our feeder schools and are assessing our new students. We need to examine what this data tells us and consider what further information we need to gather. In addition, we will need to work with the Interventions group to find effective ways to act on this data. This group will meet and work with the data gathering group to do a book study of Fullan and Sharratt's Putting Faces on the Data to identify individual student needs and appropriate courses of action to meet those needs.
