The Lodge

The Lodge is a program introduced in 2018 to meet the needs of students who join us with gaps in their learning. It is designed to provide them with the opportunity to learn academic skills to prepare them to meet the needs of academic coursework. Programming is individualized to meet student needs. Participants begin their day together and may move on to work on some option course credits later in the day.

Literacy Academics, and Language

This curriculum is designed to prepare students for the academic classroom through a concentrated focus on:
  • linguistic competence
  • contextual applications
  • intercultural competence and global citizenship
  • strategic competence

Cultural Exploration

The Cultural Exploration credit provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their identity by learning about their culture. This course is designed as an independent study where students connect with leaders in the community and track their learning and hours of involvement.
